Welcome to JOE'S TREES Happy Holidays from our family to yours! REAL TREES~REAL TRADITIONS~REAL MEMORIES
Buying your Christmas Tree or Wreath is more than a shopping trip...it is an experience that can create and continue cherished memories for many years. JOE'S TREES is a Choose & Cut Christmas Tree Farm located in Craig County, Virginia since 1962. Our farm's location creates the optimum growing conditions for the #1 Christmas tree, the Fraser fir. In addition to Fraser firs, we have seven other species available. Joe's Trees offers Christmas trees which are hand-sheared, fertilized, and maintained. One must see our trees to appreciate their rich density, beautiful color, shapely contour, and outstanding quality. In 2000, 2006 and 2008, one of JOE'S TREES was chosen as a Grand Champion Winner by the Virginia Christmas Tree Growers Association. Because of this prestigious award, we had the honor of displaying a tree in the Governor's Mansion at the State Capitol in Richmond. Joe's Trees also won the 2007 Grand Champion Wreath Design contest. In November, we presented the First Lady of Virginia with wreaths for the double doors of the Executive Mansion. In 2008, Joe's Trees won other long deserved honors. We were selected as the National Wreath Grand Champion. Sue Huffman placed first in both the decorated and undecorated wreath categories. As a double Grand Champion, Huffman received two blue ribbons and two beautiful engraved plaques at the Convention & Trade Show closing banquet. Sue Bostic won the 2008 Virginia Grand Champion for her entry of a Fraser Fir. She also placed 2nd at the National Christmas Tree competition in Des Moines, Iowa. The Virginia Sues continue to make Joe's Trees and Virginia very proud.
